Yoga, in various forms as physical culture, has been around for thousands of years. Yoga by Ennis modalities are simply an anoiting of new insight for the new millenium, along with modern science and ageless wisdom. The word yoga simply means a way or method of doing something.
Yoga is a methodology used to focus attention on your Individual Self. And when intentionally practiced with that in mind, an inner wisdom surfaces that brings one consciously to an outer wisdom in all things. And this would include proper exercise for the physical body. The need is to come into one's own power through a personal exercise regimen. My goal is to give you the principles that will enable you to find your own natural way. You will not step past the principles to your natural program. You have to pay your dues, as in most things. "You must weather a storm to transform." I will define and demonstrate how to access these principles through an understanding of the interrelatedness of the physical body, along with the inner, subtle energetics. You will be given the keys to unlock the knowledge that is encoded in each of us. The sessions will offer a sense of what you are really capable of, and this is exciting and exhilirating! You can challenge yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically. If you want to feel 'alive' again, here is your chance.
Conventional exercise regimens eventually run their course in their applications, but this program is ever-evolving. This athletic yoga crosstraining can be designed for individual capability. It will give you whole body integration, stamina, increased mobility, and intrinsic flexible strength. It is not a competition against others. You are only asked to take up the mantle with an earnest intent to move forward. Once you begin, your receptivity will determine your advancement. However, you will find that the reward is in the process. Each individual will take to it differently. If you experiment with your limitations, you will find that you can go beyond them. And by using superior techniques, you will mandate an increase in the dimensions of your practice. Consistent practice will keep you on track, make you conscious of your body every day, and create a space in daily mundane activities. Also, conscientious practice will help solidify your word as law in your life. The 'how' you do your practice is one thing, but the 'why' you do it is the all-encompassing factor.
When you train, you leave the brain. If you never jump into the water, you'll never learn how to swim. Asi es la vida. You will know if this program speaks to you.
Let me speak a little more directly to you. Most commercial training is just a passing on of general training. It is programmed to program you. This is okay as far as it goes, and may be useful as a basis. But everyone is individual in how they feel and the results they get after a certain point. After experiencing the system and formats of several disciplines, I still felt I was not experiencing my potential. I was experiencing the potential of others. By experimenting and making my physical culture routine a meditation, in and of itself, I discovered the individual personal power within me had initiated a combination of yoga and traditional movements. And by calling for the active principle of universal creative energy to lead, guide and direct me in the movements best suited for me, I got results, or you might say 'an active reply.' I discovered that every session would involve something different in addition to the general movements. As I came into my own in my program, I began to become intuitive about what to prescribe in sessions with those I would train.
